Does the Kibolu Smart Feeder work without WiFi?
Yes. Local schedules run entirely offline β WiFi is only needed for remote app control, so your pet gets fed even if the internet goes down.
What type of food does it support?
Dry kibble only, sized between 2mm and 15mm. Wet food, raw food, and treats are not compatible.
What happens during a power outage?
Insert 3Γ D-cell batteries (sold separately) as backup. The feeder continues its programmed schedule even without power.
How do I set up the app?
Download the app (iOS 11+ or Android 6+), create an account, and follow the in-app pairing guide. Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network during setup β 5GHz is not supported.
Can I use it for multiple pets?
The feeder dispenses into a single bowl, so it works best for single-pet households. If you have multiple pets, we recommend one feeder per pet to ensure accurate portion control.
How do I clean it?
The stainless steel bowl and food tray detach easily for hand washing or dishwasher cleaning. We recommend cleaning weekly to maintain hygiene.
